1/30/2015 · It does work and enables your VHS-C tapes to be played on a standard VHS Recorder. It does not handle 8mm tapes and not suitable for JVC branded tapes. 1 AA battery (not supplied) is required. My tapes are Super VHS-C so, check before you purchase that if you have the same, you have a Super VHS Recorder available to be able to play them back.
